Kate started her real estate career in the year 2000, after working in the hospital industry and retail. After seven years as an agent at a large luxury real estate firm, Kate joined Marnie Simpson in 2007 to create Nix Realty Company.
A fifth generation San Antonian, Kate knows San Antonio and its history. Nix Realty Company is named after her ancestors, the Nixes, who arrived in San Antonio in the late 1800s. The Nixes were real estate developers, and most of Kate’s extended family is in the real estate business.
Kate works all over the city, but she grew up in Alamo Heights and Terrell Hills, and knows the surrounding areas well-especially Bel Meade and Oakwell Farms. She attended St. Mary’s Hall, Alamo Heights, and Trinity University, where she shot on the skeet shooting team. Kate is involved in several social clubs, and is an active member in The Battle of Flowers Association. Kate is married to John Park, and they have two adult sons. Kate enjoys the outdoors, observing Texas wildlife, archery, and an occasional movie.
