Tinsley Simpson LaScala is a native of San Antonio. Growing up, Tinsley attended St. Mary’s Hall and Alamo Heights schools. After graduating from AH in 2013, Tinsley went on to the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a B.A. in Studio Art and a Certificate of Business from the McCombs School. After graduation, Tinsley moved to Los Angeles and worked in the fashion merchandising industry. Two years later, Tinsley decided to return to Austin where she continued to work in sales, marketing and business development for Cozumel Publishing Company. Tinsley grew up surrounded by real estate professionals. Prior to pursuing her real estate license Tinsley assisted with marketing at Nix Realty Company, a company co-founded by her mother, Marnie Simpson. Tinsley is married to fellow NIX agent Teddy LaScala. They have an amazing one year old son, “Cuatro” and yellow labrador, Willie.
